SPECIAL PROJECTS
Every year the school focuses on one theme where the whole school will become involved. This is decided sometime in the first term to be organized and worked on during the second term with an open house usually in April. Examples: “Literacy”, “Inventions”, and this year it was “Heritage”.
“Artist in Residence Program” focus for next every on the primary grades, where this year the grades 4-6 students made masks.
Intensive Core French for Grade 5 first term and then extra time for the Grade 6 students, exact time to be determined before June 22, 2004

 

District 10 Chess Tournament – Algonquin Hotel, St. Andrews , NB - week of March 20th

Provincial Chess Tournament – St. Stephen High School – Date TBA.

Sunbury Shores Art Visits all year long for Art lessons for K-6

Skating in the month of March for the whole school

Intensive Core French Grade 5 First Term only this year due to only one Grade 5 class – will finish end of January 2011 and they will continue receiving an extended French class only

Grade 6 continue to receive extended French in Grade 6
